The Invisalign® braces system uses custom-made aligners, or trays as they’re also known, to create the perfect smile. No brackets or wires are required. The trays are made of clear plastic and designed to fit your individual set of teeth. They are very discreet and also removable, so you’ll be able to eat and brush your teeth as normal. You will receive a new tray every few weeks, each of which will continue to gently guide your teeth into the correct position.
Your Invisalign® Provider will take impressions of your teeth from which Align Technology produces your personal custom - made aligners.
Invisalign® aligners can be removed to eat, maintain good oral hygiene, and you may choose to remove them briefly for special occasions.
Invisalign® aligners are virtually invisible so hardly anyone will notice you’re straightening your teeth.
Even before your Invisalign® treatment is finished, you’ll begin enjoying the benefits of a better smile. Teeth alignment will start right from the beginning.
Invisalign® aligners are comfortable to wear as there are no metal wires or brackets that could potentially irritate your mouth or gums. Some may experience temporary, minor discomfort, at the beginning of each new treatment stage when they insert a new aligner.

The Invisalign® full brace is recommended for adults, but Invisalign Teen is a version, especially suited to teenage mouths. Blue dot indicators on the side of the aligner will inform you of when the next aligner is required.
On average, patients wear Invisalign® braces for 9 to 24 months. However, minor tooth movements can be achieved in as little as 3-6 months.
You might feel slight discomfort just after having had a new tray fitted, but it doesn’t take long to get used to them.
Every 2 weeks, and you will need to come back and see us every 4-8 weeks.
Many different dental concerns can be corrected with Invisalign®, but they are particularly good for minor tooth corrections and discreet treatments.
